Police are appealing for witnesses to a reported assault, which occurred in the Crown area of Inverness. A woman in her thirties sustained minor injuries following an altercation with a man in his forties on Crown Street at around 9pm last night, near the junction opposite the Heathmount Hotel.
The woman didn’t require hospital treatment. Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or anything that may assist the investigation, to make contact on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
