Witness Appeal After Fatal Crash In Wick

A man has died following a road crash.

Gavin Farquhar, 30, was a passenger in the black Mitsubishi Lancer which was in a collision in Caithness yesterday. No other vehicle was involved.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the A99 Reiss to Keiss Road near Loch Wester, Wick at around 3.40pm.

The road was closed for eight hours while police carried out investigations.

Police appealed for information from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the black Lancer travelling on the road.
