WATCH: Trading Standards take a sniff around the car boot sale

It's perhaps unsurprising that with thousands of people descending upon the Black Isle Showfield for the MFR Cash For Kids Car Boot Sale, that Trading Standards should want a look too.

Thankfully on this occasion, there was nothing much of note to cause concern, but the team came well-prepared complete with their new aid - 'Dixie'

Bobby Crainey, handler of 'Dixie', says: "She works with Trading Standards across Scotland and one of her last seizures was in a safe - where the only open part was the lock"

"You think of a human sense of smell, the dog's is far more receptive, if we can smell a chip shop walking down the street, the dog can smell the fish, the oil, the chips and every component part of what is being sold in that chip shop"
