A Tain family's newest addition needs urgent surgery to prevent the puppy's leg from being amputated.

Sam broke it after the first few weeks of getting used to her new surroundings.

But the German Shepherd's leg has healed incorrectly and now an operation costing up to £3,000 is needed within the next few weeks.
