The first moving images of the UK's first British-born polar bear cub in 25-years are to broadcast tonight, after being recorded at the Highland Wildlife Park.

Victoria gave birth to the baby bear a week before Christmas last year, and the yet-to-be-named cub's first venture out of its den was captured by cameras installed for a Channel 4 documentary.

The programme, which broadcasts at 7pm tonight, is part of a two-year project to document the world-famous birth at the Kingcraig attraction.

Visitors to the site near Kingussie won't see Victoria or her cub’s enclosure until late March.
