Meet nine week old Bodie, a German Shepherd puppy who will join Police Scotland's operations in the North East.
Bodie will assist officers in looking for missing persons, as well as tackling drug and substance busts.
The German Shephered will start his training with an instructor and Police Dog handler from the Operation Support division.
Trainer Steve Warden said: "He's got a good lot of drive, hence we select him to go through a selection process to become a Police dog.
"To get to this stage, he's obviously exceeded his brothers and sisters of the litter."
