A Dornoch woman's telling MFR News about the heart attack which killed her husband.

Catherine Mcangus and her partner Gary won a 2008 MFR competition for their wedding to be paid for by the station.

Catherine's hubby died before Christmas 2013, and today 80-vintage tractors are taking to Highland roads as part of a 53-mile 'Gars tractor run' to remember the 53-year-old.

Gary was the event's founder, but sadly he only managed to attend two of of the occasions before dying.

The circuit, which starts at 10am today, will include passing through Embo, Rogart, Lairg, Bonar Bridge.

The memorial event is also a fundraiser, and over the last three-years ÂŁ35,000 has been raised for the charity Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.
