Dan caused a bit of controversy about BOILED EGGS on Thursday's Home Run.

He claimed that he boils an egg for SEVEN minutes - and the yolk is still runny.

And despite several listeners getting in touch to question his method, he still maintained that seven minutes in the pan would create the perfect soft-boiled egg.

So we asked him to prove it.

We don't have a hob in the MFR kitchen, so we wheeled out the barbecue and put Dan's theory to the test.
