Thurso kid walks after life-changing surgery.

Published 11th May 2016

A kid from Thurso is every day defying a disease which was stopping him from walking.

MFR News has been following Kayden's battle against a form of cerebral palsy, which prevented him from being able to straighten his legs.

The 4-year-old's last hope of being able to walk was a potentially life-changing, but expensive operation, only available overseas.

Our charity MFR Cash for Kids helped his parents from Caithness to afford the surgical procedure in Amercia by donating £10,000 towards their fundraising appeal.

Now Kayden has become the face of MFR Cash for Kids' Superhero Day which is happening this Friday.

It's to help fundraise for other young people who need our help. Last year that included 9,425-kids.
