44-year-old woman killed following two-car crash on A9

Police have named 44-year-old Amanda Harold from Cumbernauld following a fatal crash on the A9 on Wednesday 30th March.

At 10:45am the emergency services were alerted to the A9 near Dalwhinnie, with the collision involving a black Mazda 6 and a grey Vauxhall Astra. Ms Harold was the sole occupant of the Mazda and died at the scene. A man and woman and two young children travelling in the Astra sustained cuts and bruises. The road was closed for around six hours to allow for a full investigation to take place. However Police would appeal to anyone with information that may assist enquiries to make contact via 101.
