UEFA decision on supporters at cup final
Last updated 11th May 2021
UEFA has given the Scottish Football Association its blessing to stage this month's Scottish Cup final in front of a "limited number'' of fans.
Finalists Hibernian and St Johnstone were originally told the May 22 showpiece would have to be played behind closed doors because UEFA were due to take control of the stadium by that point as they step up preparations for the National Stadium's involvement in this summer's Euro 2020 finals.
But a spokesman for European football's governing body has said: "We confirm that UEFA has been able to find a solution with the Scottish FA to allow a limited number of spectators for the Scottish Cup final.''
