Two teenagers charged in connection with attempted murder in Moray

Two teen boys have been charged in connection with an attempted murder in Elgin.

A 25-year-old man was seriously injured following the incident on the Plainstones, near the fountain, at around 10:45pm on April 30th.

A 14-year-old and a 15-year-old have now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

Police Scotland say a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and they are expected to appear before Elgin Sheriff Court at a later date.

Detective Inspector Andrew Wilson said: "We are very grateful for the support and co-operation of the local community while we carried out our investigation into this incident."
