Two seriously injured in Moray car crash

Four people travelling in the same car have been injured in crash on a Moray road.

The collision happened on the B9013 Sheriffston to Orton road, near Altonside, at about 9.10pm on Monday.

Police Scotland said two men in a black Peugeot 206 which was heading south were seriously hurt.

The pair, aged 30 and 19, were initially taken to Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin, then transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

A 23-year-old woman is being treated for fractures at Dr Gray's, while another 19-year-old man suffered minor injuries and was released from hospital.

The road was closed to allow investigations to be carried out.
