Two people taken to hospital after crash near Drumnadrochit

A two vehicle crash on the A82 has left two people needing hospital treatment.

Emergency services rushed out to the collision near Drumnadrochit at around 9:20am this morning.

Two people were taken to Raigmore, and the road was closed for around two and a half hours.

Police Scotland say a man will be reported in connection with road traffic offences.

A spokesperson said: "Around 9.20am on Monday, 1 May, 2023, we were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A82 near Drumnadrochit.

"Emergency services attended and two people were taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment.

"A 41-year-old man will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal for road traffic offences."

The road re-opened at 11:45am.
