Two people seriously injured following A9 crash
The collision happened yesterday afternoon
A man and a woman have been seriously injured in a three vehicle collision in the Highlands.
The crash, involving a navy Volvo XC90, a white Ford Focus and a white Peugeot Boxer, happened on the A9 near Kingussie yesterday afternoon at around 1.55pm.
Those in the Volvo, both aged 63, were taken to Raigmore hospital for treatment.
Drivers of the other vehicles involved with the collision didn't require medical treatment at the scene.
The road was closed for around seven hours.
Sergeant Calum MacAulay, Road Policing North, is urging anyone with information about the crash to get in touch with officers.
He said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have dash-cam footage of the incident. Information can be passed to officers via 101.
"Please quote incident number 1829 of Sunday, 8 September 2024 when calling.”
