Two men arrested after man's death in Inverness

Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a man in Inverness.
Emergency services were called out to Balloan Road in the Hilton area of the city at around 8.25am this morning.
Two men were found injured and taken to hospital while the third man made his own way to hospital for treatment.
One of the men was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The other two men, aged 21 and 38, were treated for minor injuries and discharged.
Both have now been arrested in connection with the man's death.
'Extensive enquiries' ongoing
Balloan Road remains closed between Balloan Court and Morvich Way to allow investigations to continue, and the public has been advised to avoid the area.
Detective Chief Inspector John Lumsden said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died at this very difficult time.
“Officers continue to carry out extensive enquiries at this time so there will be an increased police presence in the area over the coming days.
“We understand this will be a concerning incident for the local community and would encourage anyone with concerns to approach local officers or call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0632 of 9 January 2025.”
