Two people have been arrested following a drugs raid at a house in the Raigmore area of Inverness.
Two people have been arrested following a drugs raid at a house in the Raigmore area of Inverness.
Police searched a property and a car last night and discovered a mixture of Class A and Class B drugs, believed to be cannabis and heroin, with an estimated street value of £2,500, along with a four figure sum of cash.
A 23 year-old man and 48 year-old woman have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal and are due to appear in court at a later date.
Detective Inspector Mark Czerniakiewicz said: "This was part of ongoing efforts to remove heroin from the streets of Inverness.
"We are carrying out increased patrols in areas that have been identified to us by the public and would encourage anyone who has information or concerns regarding drug activity to contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
