Tributes paid to woman killed in Aberdeen flat double murder
The family of a mother believed to have been killed in a double murder by a man who then leapt to his death paid tribute to her "cheery and generous" nature.
Tributes have been paid to a man and woman who died in a disturbance in which a third man apparently leapt to his death.
The pair, named locally as Keith Taylor and Tracy Gabriel, were found following a disturbance at a block of flats in Aberdeen on Tuesday evening.
Police Scotland said their deaths are being treated as murder.
Witnesses described seeing another man - named locally as Hugh Gallacher - fall to his death from the 12th floor of Donside Court in the Tillydrone area shortly after police arrived.
The bodies of Ms Gabriel, originally from Huntly in Aberdeenshire, and Mr Taylor were later found in a flat in the tower block.
Speaking to the Daily Record, Ms Gabriel's father, Alex, 63, said: "Tracy was a very cheery, generous person who would give you the last pound in her pocket. Maybe she was sometimes too generous to the wrong people, who took advantage of her.
"All she ever wanted to do was make sure everyone was okay. I can't believe something like this has happened to her."
Her daughter Samantha, 21, said: "I'm struggling to believe this has happened."
Writing on Facebook, a friend of Mr Taylor said: "I would Like to say rest in peace to one of my oldest best friends Keith Taylor.
"Man we had so much fun and crazy times too and I remember all the trouble we didn't mean get into to but it just happened.
"You will always be in my life man RIP Keith."
