Tip-off leads to £155,000 drugs recovery in Highland

Cocaine and heroin with an estimated 'street' value of £155,000 has been seized by police after officers stopped and searched a car near Drumnadrochit.

A 29 year old woman has been charged in connection with the recovery and is expected to appear in Inverness Sheriff Court on Thursday 17 January 2019.

Police Scotland said they are committed to tackling the supply of controlled drugs to the Highlands and Islands and pro-actively targeting those individuals intent on causing harm to our local communities.
