Three teens charged following city centre disturbance in Inverness

Police in Inverness have charged three teenagers in connection with a disturbance on Inverness High Street.

Three boys - aged 15, 14 and 13-years-old - have been charged with offences relating to public disorder and will be reported to the relevant authorities.

Further enquiries are ongoing to identify others involved in incidents, which occurred on the afternoon of Saturday and Sunday (September 23rd and 24th).

Inverness area commander Chief Inspector Colin Gough said: "We are continuing to carry out enquiries into this incident and I hope the public can take reassurance that we will thoroughly investigate anti-social behaviour reported to us"

"I would anticipate that further people will be identified as our enquiries progress and charges will be brought where evidence exists"
