An Inverness crash has left three men seriously injured after a car hit a building near the city centre.
Emergency services rushed out to the junction of Grant Street and Lochalsh Road around 9pm last night after a Mercedes E220 crashed into the former William Hill bookmakers.
A 43-year-old woman and the men, aged 32, 38 and 42, were taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment.
The three men sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries and the woman has now been discharged.
The building suffered extensive damage and the road remains closed whilst the building is structurally assessed.
Police Scotland say enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
Road Policing Sergeant Kate Park said: "I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash but has not yet spoken to police to come forward.
"I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have dash cam footage prior to the crash which could help with our investigation."
Highland Council have also confirmed they're on site working with structural engineers.
"Our staff are currently on site with structural engineers and options for making the building safe are being considered.
"Meanwhile the road and pavements will need to remain shut."
