Teen arrested after 'serious assault' in Buckie

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with an alleged serious assault in Moray.
The incident happened yesterday at around 2:20pm on East Church Street in Buckie.
A 54-year-old man was taken to Dr Gray's for treatment.
Police Scotland say enquiries are ongoing.
Police Sergeant Kenneth MacConnachie of Buckie Police Station said: “There was no wider threat to the public.
"If anyone witnessed the incident, we would like you to contact us on 101, quoting 1817 of 1 April, 2024."
