Stolen Tractor Rampage On Black Isle
A stolen tractor was taken on a rampage across the Black Isle at the weekend.
Police are appealing for information following the theft of a tractor and trailer which were taken on a rampage across the Black Isle.
Between 6.30pm on Saturday 17th January and 5.20am on Sunday 18th January 2015 a report was received of a theft of a blue Ford 7840 tractor and trailer from a field next to Balloan Farm, on the Black Isle (B9163).
It is suspected the tractor travelled in a westerly along the B9163 where a short time later the trailer detached.
The tractor continued along the B9163 before crossing the A9 into Conon Bridge, striking and destroying a bus shelter on the Leanaig Road.
It continued into the grounds of the Riverford Garage in the village.
Whilst being driven the tractor caused extensive damage to both private and public property.
