Teenager charged after police at Belladrum seize smoke grenades

Police at Belladrum are warning revellers they could face criminal conviction if they're caught with smoke grenades.

It's after some were confiscated from a campsite at the festival.

The discovery led to a 17-year-old teenager being charged in connection with the seizure.

A police spokesperson told MFR News: "Anyone in possession of these devices is urged to safely dispose of them, and be reminded this is a family event and anti-social behaviour will be not be tolerated."

Bellas could also be banned from the festival grounds if they're found with smoke grenades.
