Fire crews have been tackling a serious blaze at Moray's Findhorn Foundation.

There's been extensive damage to the Community Centre and Main Sanctuary, but nobody was hurt.

A spokesperson for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 2.00am on Monday to reports of a fire within the Findhorn Foundation Park"

“Operations Control mobilised six fire appliances as well as specialist resources to the scene"

As of lunchtime on Monday crews were still in attendance.

A Police Scotland spokesperson also told MFR News: “A 49-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
