Loch Ness RNLI have been forced to deal with three emergency callouts in just a matter of days.

The first involved a missing kayaker near Loch Ness.

The alarm was on Tuesday 31st May after the man failed to return from his trip.

Emergency teams searched the area and the missing man was later traced ashore at Invermoriston.

The team were called out again on Thursday 2nd June after a holiday cruiser experienced engine failure near Foyers, with five people onboard.

No-one was injured.

The final incident came at the weekend, on Sunday 5th May, after a sports boat suffered engine failure at the north end of the loch, with five people on board.

The vessel was found near Lochend Beach and taken under tow to the slipway at Foyers.
