Search For Missing Walker On Ben Nevis Suspended
The search for missing hillwalker Kyle Knox - who's believed to be missing on Ben Nevis - has been suspended until ground conditions improve to allow a safe and full search by Mountain Rescue Teams.
The search for a missing hillwalker has been suspended due to poor conditions on the UK's highest peak.
Kyle Knox, from London, was last seen at the foot of Ben Nevis on Monday.
The 23-year-old was reported missing the following day when he failed to return to his hotel in Fort William.
Police said the search for Mr Knox will resume when ground conditions improve.
A Police Scotland statement said: Conditions will be continually assessed going forward and it is hoped the search for Mr Knox will resume as soon as it is safe to do so.
Police Scotland extends appreciation to all personnel involved in yesterday's search efforts, which took place in very challenging conditions.''
Lochaber mountain rescue team, Glencoe mountain rescue team and helicopter crews have been involved in the search.
