A 30 year old man, 14 year old boy and two women aged 48 and 53 have been charged, following a drugs raid in Elgin.

Warrants were executed in the Elgin and Buckie areas by members of North East Division’s Organised Crime Investigation Team yesterday.

As a result of the operation, over £3700 in cash was recovered and enquiries are continuing.

Detective Constable Kyle MacKinnon of the North East Division’s Organised Crime Investigation Team said: “Today’s action is a direct result of members of the public coming forward with information. Police Scotland will continue to take action to tackle the issues local communities highlight as a concern and would encourage people with information about drug activity and organised crime to come forward.”

All four will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
