Organisers have confirmed singer Sam Ryder has pulled out of his Belladrum performance this evening due to illness.

He was due to take to the stage at the festival later, after helping the UK finish second at this year's Eurovision Song Contest.

However, organisers say he is no longer able to sing tonight, but will return next year.

Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival revealed the news via a statement on their social media earlier today.

They said: "Unfortunately Sam Ryder has had to cancel his appearance this evening at Bella due to illness.

"On the positive side we are delighted to confirm that he will join us on the Garden Stage in 2023!

"We all wish Sam a speedy recovery and look forward seeing him next year.

The festival is now underway, with the likes of Van Morrison, Emile Sandé, Nile Rodgers and Chic set to feature over the weekend.

You can listen to Jodie at Breakfast live at the festival from 6am tomorrow morning.
