Ross County are without Craig Curran as they begin their William Hill Scottish Cup campaign but manager Jim McIntyre is optimistic the striker's latest lay-off will not be as long as his recent absence.
Ross County are without Craig Curran as they begin their William Hill Scottish Cup campaign but manager Jim McIntyre is optimistic the striker's latest lay-off will not be as long as his recent absence.
Curran sat out six weeks through concussion earlier in the season and went off with a similar problem as County lost 2-0 against Inverness last weekend.
With Liam Boyce out with a broken hand, McIntyre will be without his first-choice strikeforce as County face his former club Dunfermline in the fourth round at East End Park on Saturday.
McIntyre said: Craig will miss this weekend with concussion. We just have to wait and see how it goes.
It's certainly not as bad as the last time because it's not an impact injury, but we can't put a time frame on it at this moment.
Tony Dingwall has rolled his ankle in training and will miss out for a week.''
