Fans of the Dingwall club were left in the dark after the site went down on Saturday before being restored on Tuesday.
An error by web-hosting firm 123-reg has been blamed.
David O'Connor, from Ross County, said the glitch caused problems with the sale of tickets for Sunday's clash at Celtic Park.
Supporters were asked to make contact by phone or visit the Staggies' stadium to buy tickets.
Mr O'Connor said: "Online is a crucial part of our ticket sales, selling merchandise and the website is where fans go to to reserve seats on buses and find match information.
"Coming to the ground is not easy for the fan who works nine to five.
"Our fan base is always widely spread out across the Highlands and it means supporters having to travel quite a distance to get to Dingwall."
123-reg says it is the largest domain provider in the UK, hosting more than 1.7 million websites.
The error, which also affected other customer sites, reportedly occurred during maintenance and the firm has apologised for any inconvenience.
