A Harris Hawk has arrived in the Highland capital, on a flying visit to Inverness, but Romeo the raptor is not looking for love in the city.

He's ScotRail's no nonsense approach to keeping gulls away from the station, or in corporate speak, according to an official Tweet: 'He's reminding the gulls that the station is a no-fly zone.'

At the time of publication it remains unclear whether Romeo's performance is better or worse than the train operator's, but if his beak and claws are anything to go by, then it's possible the bird may be able to show bosses a thing or two about efficiency.
