Motorists on the A9 should be aware of temporary traffic restrictions on two short sections of the road as part of the work on the A9 Dualling project between Kincraig and Dalraddy starting tomorrow.

The works are required to construct two new underpasses at Allt an Fhearna to the north and Dunachton Burn to the south of the scheme.

Traffic management arrangements will see the A9 reduced to one lane controlled by temporary traffic signals at a 300 metre section at 'Allt an Fhearna and a further 300 metre section at Dunachton Burn with works planned sequentially.

A 40mph speed limit under average speed camera control is already in place along the length of the project and is running well. While no significant delays are expected during this phase of the works, motorists should plan ahead for their journey.

Works will continue until Wednesday 4th November.
