A man has been jailed for 13 years for a string of serious crimes against three woman in Highland.

The 39-year-old carried out the crimes between 2006 and 2020 in Inverness and areas in Ross-shire.
A Police Scotland statement said: "A 39-year-old man has been jailed for 13 years after being found guilty of a number of serious offences committed against women.
"Neil Campbell was convicted of offences including rape, sexual assault and assault to severe injury and danger of life at the High Court in Aberdeen in November, 2023.
He was sentenced to 13 years imprisonment and a further three years under license when he appeared at the High Court in Inverness yesterday.
"His offending took place against three women in the Inverness and Ross-shire areas between 2006 and 2020."
Detective Constable David Armes from the Public Protection Unit in Inverness hopes the sentence will give victims comfort as they move forward.
He said: “The abuse perpetrated by Neil Campbell had a profound effect on all three of the victims in this case.
“It is hoped that this significant sentence goes some way to acknowledging this and will give some comfort to them as they move forward in their lives.”
