Rangers to face Real Madrid in Ibrox friendly
They welcome Los Blancos to Glasgow on July 25
Rangers will welcome Real Madrid in a pre-season friendly at Ibrox this month.
Steven Gerrard's men have announced the glamour fixture which while take place on July 25.
They already have friendlies scheduled to take place against Tranmere Rovers, Arsenal, Blackpool and Brighton.
Carlo Ancelotti's side will make the trip to Glasgow as Rangers complete their preparations for the new season and head into domestic and European action.
The thirteen-time European champions have only made the trip to Govan once in their history.
They faced Rangers in the first round of the European cup in the 1963/64.
Ferenc Puskas scored the only goal of the game.
Fans will be able to see a star-studded side taking on the Ibrox outfit with the likes of Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, Eden Hazard and Raphael Varane all currently in their ranks.
In their announcement on the club website, Rangers said: "This meeting is sure to be a superb occasion, and a fantastic test for Steven Gerrard’s side ahead of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers as two of European football’s most famous names go head to head".
