Pregnant cow shot in face and left to die
A Highland farmer's been left shocked after one of his cows was shot in the face and left to die.
The pregnant animal was found in a forest near Dores on Friday morning.
Its face was swollen on one side. It was also bleeding and struggling to breathe.
It's thought she'd been shot in the face after escaping from Dunlichity Farm with more than 4-dozen cattle during last week's thunderstorm.
The mum-to-be's injuries were so severe that she had to be put down.
Police Scotland has told MFR News it's investigating the gun attack.
