Police Search For Missing Lochinver Man

Police are appealing for assistance in tracing Michael Fairchild, aged 49, who has been reported missing from the Lochinver area.

Michael was last seen around 11am on Tuesday in the Baddidarach are of Lochinver, setting off to walk to Ardoe. Michael has since failed to return and concerns have been raised for his welfare.

Michael is described as 5'7" in height, of stocky build with collar length dark hair, is clean shaven and wears glasses. When last seen Michael was wearing wellies or walking boots, dark cord trousers, a blue polo shirt and 3/4 length wax jacket.

Police would appeal to anyone who has seen Michael in the area or who has any information on his whereabouts to make contact via 101.
