Police name victim of Highland three-car smash

A teenage boy killed in a three-car crash has been named by police.

The name of the teen boy who died on Friday's crash near Munlochy has been released by Police.

Gregor McIntosh, 16, was killed when the Vauxhall Corsa he was a passenger in was involved in a collision on the A9 in the Highlands.

Sergeant Angus Murray of Police Scotland's road policing unit at Dingwall said: "Our thoughts remain with Gregor's family and friends at this very sad time.

"Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash and we are grateful to the members of the public who have assisted us already.

"I would ask anyone who has information, in particular drivers with dash-cam footage which might help with our investigation to call us."

The Inverness teenager was killed when the red Vauxhall Corsh he was in was involved in a crash at the junction with the B9161 road on Friday evening.

A white Nissan Juke and a blue Volkswagen Polo were also involved in the incident, with the driver of the Polo being taking to hospital.
