Police name the man who died in a road accident near Nairn on Friday

Police have named a man who was killed in a crash near Nairn on Friday.

Police Scotland can confirm the name of the man who died following a crash on the B9101 at Bognafuaran, near Nairn, on Friday, 25 November 2022 as Callum Ewen, 23, from the Fochabers area.

His family have asked for their privacy to be respected at this time.

Road Policing Sergeant Chris Donaldson said: “Our thoughts remain with Callum’s family at a very difficult time.

“Enquiries are still ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened and I would again appeal to anyone who may have information about it to please get in touch with us, quoting incident number 0492 of 25 November, 2022.”
