Police were called to Marine Road earlier this morning.
Emergency services remain at the scene as investigations continue.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.30am on Thursday, 21 July, 2022 police received a report that a body of a man had been found on the beach at Nairn at Marine Road.
"Emergency services are in attendance and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
