Police believe a teenager missing from the Dunblane are may have travelled to the Highlands.

Omar Teyve Denham, known as Teyve, was last seen at around 5pm on Friday 7th October around Dunblane Railway Station.

Police remain concerned for the teenager and now believe he travelled to the Ballachulish area of the Highlands and that he may now be in Fort William.

Officers are appealing to members of the public who live in both Ballachulish and Fort William to assist in their efforts to trace Teyve.

He is described as white, 6ft tall with a slim build, long wavy shoulder length fair hair and wearing an oversized red jumper with black stripes, blue denim jeans and grey high top trainers.

Inspector Andrew Malcolm of Forth Valley Division said: ''Teyve has been missing since Friday and we are growing increasingly concerned about his welfare. We would again ask Teyve to make contact with his family, friends or with police to let us know he is safe and well. We now believe Teyve may be in the Highlands, particularly in the Fort William and Ballachulish areas. We would ask that anyone from those areas who believes they have seen Tevye, or recognises his description, to get in touch with police immediately.''
