Police appeal to find missing MacDuff man

Police are looking for information to help trace a missing Aberdeenshire man.

Michael Slater, from the MacDuff area, has not been seen since Tuesday at about 9am.

The 35-year-old was last spotted in the Cornhill area of Aberdeen.

He is known to travel around Highland and Grampian areas. Michael also has connections in Dundee.

Officers say he is described as 6'2" in height with messy black hair and facial stubble.

Michael was last seen wearing a black leather biker style jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and a black beanie hat.

Inspector Craig Feroz said: 'As time goes by, we are becoming increasingly concerned for Michael's safety and wellbeing.

'Our officers are carrying out a number of enquiries in a bid to trace him. If Michael is reading this, I would ask him to please get in touch with police to let us know that he is safe.'
