Police appeal following suspicious activity in Inverness

As part of ongoing enquiries, police in Inverness are looking to speak to the driver of a van in connection with a reported suspicious activity in the Milton of Leys area.

Police Scotland received a report of an incident which occurred at around 18:45 hours on Thursday 05 November 2015, where the male driver of a van spoke to a 12 year-old boy, who was walking along Strathspey Place.

The boy made his intentions to leave and the vehicle continued on its way.

The man is described as 30-40 years of age, heavy build and dark hair with a bald spot towards the front. He was believed to be driving a large blue van, towing a silver trailer.

Police Scotland would seek to reassure the public that extensive enquiries have been carried out into the matter and these remain ongoing at this time.
