Published 6th Apr 2016

Police have uncovered plans to hold an illegal rave in the Inverness area tonight and are warning people planning on attending to stay away. Chief Inspector Colin Gough said: "Our main priority is public safety and to prevent crime. The organisers of the planned rave do not have permission from the land owners to use the site and have not sought the relevant licences from the local authority" "We have been in contact with the land owner where the rave is potentially being held and we will have resources in the area to assist with preventing illegal access. Anyone planning to attend the rave should be aware that you may be committing a criminal offence and we will deal with any criminality robustly" Hear more from Chief Inspector Gough:-
