Police are investigating a report that two planes may have flown under a bridge in an incident of unofficial aeronautical acrobatics''.

Three aircraft, thought to be seaplanes, were seen flying past the Kessock Bridge in the Highlands at around 1.13pm yesterday.

Two of the planes were said to have flown under the bridge before meeting up with the third and continuing on their flight path.

Police have launched an investigation and appealed for information about the incident.

They are keen to see any footage or photos that people may have of the incident.

The matter has also been reported to the Civil Aviation Authority.
