Pensioner in serious condition following A9 crash
It happened near Alness at around 4.30pm on Thursday
A pensioner was left in a serious condition following a crash on the A9 near Alness.
It happened at around 4.30pm on Thursday December 8 near the junction with Obsdale Road and involved a Transit Van, a BMW and VW Caddy Van.
The 85-year-old driver of the BMW was cut from the wreckage and rushed to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
The road was shut for nearly seven hours while police investigated.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward by calling 101.
