Pensioner Killed in Dufftown Crash Named

Police have named an 81-year-old who died in a crash on the A920 Dufftown to Huntly road at Corsemaul on Saturday.

Police have named an 81-year-old who died in a crash on the A920 Dufftown to Huntly road at Corsemaul on Saturday.

Patrick Pirie of the Dufftown area was involved in the collision which happened aaround 3.55pm and involved a maroon Ford Fiesta, a white Renault Twingo and a blue Volkswagen Golf.

Sergeant Rob Warnock, from the Aberdeenshire and Moray Road Policing Unit, said: "I am appealing for any witness who may have seen the three vehicles involved in this collision at the time of or prior to the collision to contact Police Scotland on 101."
