Pensioner dies following crash in the Highlands
A pensioner has died following a road crash in the Highlands.
Maurice Embley, 77, from Lairg in Sutherland, died in a collision between a Skoda Octavia and a Renault Clio on the A836 at Invershin at around 6.10pm on Friday.
Police want anyone who saw the collision or either vehicle being driven on the road to contact them.
Enquiries into the crash are ongoing and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
