Pedestrian who was hit by car in Inverness dies in hospital

A man who was hit by a car in Inverness earlier this month has died from his injuries.

Andrew Buchanan, who was from Inverness, was involved in a collision with a black Seat Altea on Saturday March 4.

It happened on the A82 at the junction of Kenneth Street and Tomnahurich Street at around 6.15pm.

Police have confirmed the 46-year-old died at Raigmore Hospital on Monday March 13.

A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
