Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard has sealed his move to Premier League side Crystal Palace.

The French forward will link up with fellow countryman Patrick Vieira who is now in charge of the Eagles on a four-year deal.

The 23-year old's contract was due to expire next summer and the Parkhead side have moved to cash in on him.

Reports suggest the initial fee is in the region of ÂŁ14million, which could rise to around ÂŁ18.5million.

His former club PSG are due 40% of the profit Celtic make from the deal - with the forward earning somewhere in the region of ÂŁ70,000 a week.

Edouard originally joined the Hoops on a season-long loan in 2017 before signing on a permanent deal for around ÂŁ9million the following summer.

He played 179 times for the club in all competitions, scoring 88 goals.

Speaking with Palace TV, Edouard said: “I’m very happy to be here today. I can’t wait start to train with the team and to play for this club.

"Scoring goals in the Premier League may be the biggest challenge in my career. But I’m confident in myself and my teammates to be successful.”
